The price of a camera system depends on three things: the cameras themselves, the recording solution, and whether you install it yourself or hire a technician. Below are real price examples from our range so you can work out the cost of your own solution.

The more AI functionality a camera has (human/vehicle classification, perimeter protection, panoramic coverage), the higher the price — but even a simple camera at the entrance makes a big difference compared with no surveillance at all.

RECORDER (NVR) AND STORAGE PRICES

• 8-channel NVR: approx. 1,899 kr
• 16-channel NVR: approx. 2,695 kr
• Surveillance hard drive: 1 TB approx. 1,329 kr, 2 TB approx. 1,899 kr, 4 TB approx. 2,499 kr

An NVR is needed if you want to record from several cameras locally instead of relying solely on cloud storage. The drive size determines how far back you can record before older footage gets overwritten.

EXAMPLE: A SMALLER HOME SYSTEM

Two IP cameras (entrance and driveway) plus a simple recording solution usually come out to 1,500–3,000 kr in pure equipment cost, before installation.

EXAMPLE: A BUSINESS SYSTEM

For an office or shop with several cameras, an 8- or 16-channel NVR, and a few TB of storage, the equipment cost is usually in the range of 8,000–15,000 kr, depending on the number of cameras and the desired AI functionality.
