TSCM vehicle sweeps
GPS trackers and hidden listening devices are often placed in vehicles. A vehicle sweep follows the same methodology as for premises, adapted to the vehicle:
- Physical search of the underside and frame, bumpers, wheel arches, engine bay, fuse box, dashboard, OBD port, seats and boot, using inspection mirrors and a video borescope
- RF analysis to detect trackers that report their position over the mobile network, including with the engine running and while driving, since many trackers only transmit when the vehicle is moving
- Checks for passive trackers, which store position without transmitting, and Bluetooth tags such as AirTag
- NLJD checks where relevant
- Confidential report with findings and recommendations
