Description: ASTRO N7s is Astronergy's premium series for homes, farms, and off-grid installations – and our recommended solar panel for the Aferiy PH062 home battery. The panel is bifacial, meaning it generates electricity from both the front and back: up to 25% extra power compared to a traditional single-sided panel when mounted with light-colored ground, snow, or roofing material underneath. The glass-glass construction (1.6 + 1.6 mm) makes the panel more resistant to moisture, wind, and temperature fluctuations than regular panel frames with a plastic backsheet.

The core consists of n-type TOPCon 4.0 cells with ZBB-TF technology (Zero-busbar) – no visible conductors on the front give a clean, all-black appearance that suits both modern villas and newly built zero-carbon houses. The module delivers 465 W at STC, 23.3% efficiency, and can withstand mechanical loads up to 5400 Pa front – built for Nordic snow loads.

Recommended setup for PH062 home battery: 12–14 panels. 12 panels provide approximately 5580 W peak power (matching the battery's 5.12 kWh capacity with a good margin). 14 panels provide approximately 6510 W and fully utilize the PH062's maximum solar power of 6500 W – perfect for households with high electricity consumption or where fast battery charging is desired during short sunny days. String sizing should be done against the PH062's MPPT range of 60–500 VDC; typically, the panels are connected in series in two parallel strings.
